Richmond Plains produced New Zealand’s first certified organic Rosé.

Our Rosé is a fruity and elegant wine. Nicely chilled this wine is perfect as an aperitif or summertime drinking.

Tasting: Fragrant with red cherry, raspberry and strawberry aromas. Delicious soft, raspberry and redcurrant flavours. This wine has a refreshing, dry minerally finish which makes it an excellent accompaniment to a wide variety of lighter flavoured food dishes.

Wine Making:  All fruit was crushed and destemmed and held half day in the press to allow for colour extraction before being cool fermented to preserve the vibrant primary fruit characters.

Diet: This wine is suitable for a vegan diet.

Analysis: Alcohol 13 %, Acidity 7.2 g/L, Residual Sugar 4 g/L

Beautifully fruited and inviting, showing rockmelon, red cherry, crunchy apple and floral aromas, it's juicy and refreshing in the mouth delivering bright fruit flavours with well-pitched acidity, finishing elegant and succulent.
